Good evening, we've had a couple of lovely days here so in between crafting and cleaning I have been soaking up as much sun as I can. I have also been taking the spring cleaning into the kitchen, (one room at a time.) We spent a good few hours cleaning out cupboards and de-greasing everything... Yet I still found time to make some salt dough plaques, I made a few trial hearts for my sisters wedding, (more details to be found eventually on my diy wedding diary. I discovered a weird thing with acrylic and salt dough, it appears that the paint dries to a tacky state instantly which comes away in strips. I would have always used poster paint before which has alot more water, bit of a pain but we got there eventually.

A Boat a Day (no.281)
