A Boat a Day (no.293)

I've always found illuminated manuscripts to be very enchanting, there is so much going on, and when colour is used they are vivid and have an almost stained-glass quality. I could only find the black ink today so I worked with water to bring out the many tones and shades. I worked with a viking boat for this project and one of the fonts I practiced a few weeks back.
