Today's boat is made up of lots of layers, I began with canvas paper which I stained with tea, coffee and fruit tea. I added a touch of blue acrylic to the sea and lots of iridescent medium before I worked some black ink in to pick out detail. It's pretty hard to take a photograph as the tones are so subtle and the iridescence is SO shiny!
