A Boat a Day (no.186)

Today's boat is more about the globe, which is one of those cheapy plastic ones all kids should own. I decided to give it a bit of a makeover, starting with lots of brown and sepia tones. I will have to do something about the stand another time. the ship was drawn with black and silver marker pen, however I decided after I had done it to spray the whole globe in fixative to make sure the paint didn't run. It didn't, but the marker pen did :(
I will be using this as display on my stall, but I think if I find anymore kids globes, especially if they look a bit sad I will be repainting them!
